Doubt it will get a big enough boost from China to pass DM2.  Also since Pixar doesn't have anything coming out this year How to Train Your Dragon 2 will easily be the top grossing animated movie world wide and should be the front runner for best animated movie at next years Academy Awards.

Disney has another film in November and I wouldn't discount them after Frozen.

I read up on that its based on a very obsure Marvel Comic, Big Hero 6 I doubt it will be better then How To Train Your Dragon 2 it might do well in Japan though due to its art style.  I think the reboot of the Fantasic Four probably will make more money than Big Hero 6 as long as the cast is decent.

Yep, HTTYD 2 is №3 in 2014 race for the billion, too, just behind Hobbit and Transformers(China guarantees).

The Hunger Games: Mockingbird Part 1 should make a billion world wide also.

There were chances for CF, but no, Asia ignored it completely, so, for MJ 1, in 2D, there is no possibility even for 900m, DOM is likely to be under THG, and OS is likely to stay flat, but billion for MJ 2 is locked, sure.

At this point, i would say that Interstellar has better chances of 1B than MJ 1. And Interstellar could affect MJ1, btw, but i don't think it's going to break out.

Interstellar is the last True IMAX 15/70mm movie...

Frozen is, by far, the best disney movie I've seen since the Beauty and the Beast/Lion King era. It also rival some of the Pixar greats from recent years.

I'm extremely pleased that Disney finally got some of it's greatness back, really hope they can carry the torch in their next animated movies.

Went to see the movie twice in Theathers (Original Version and Portuguese) and can't wait for the Blu-Ray to come out.

Great opening from Ride Along

Frozen is doing incredibly well in South Korea! It is already close to beating Tangled's Lifetime gross in South Korea (according to boxofficemojo) in less than 5 days. It has earned $8,716,364.22 so far in the country. I hope Frozen's WW gross reaches a billion somehow.
