Can Disney beat Universal's record 2015 domestic gross - $2.445 billion?

It will fall short of tha... 4 13.33%

Finding Dory, Doctor Stra... 20 66.67%

It's going to be very cl... 6 20.00%

Total:30

Rush could have did better but I'm sure that it will have decent legs. It would have helped if it was PG-13 and a few minuted shorter.

Gravity made more then I thought it would make on Friday for being mostly CGI it actually had a reasonable budget at $100 million it will probably be profitable in no time. Also its pretty much guaranteed to win the Academy Award for best Visual Effects.

It's also the most likely winner for Best Picture with 96 on metacritic and 98% on RT.

It probably is, also I heard the music in it is very good so it has a good change to get the Oscar for Best Original Score.  Now that the prelimary weekend numbers are in it did better then anyone thought since it set a new record for the best domestic opening for a movie opening in October.

Wow gravity was great.

Horrible understanding of physics and space, but man did I love that movie. No way should it win an Oscar for anything but special effects though.

What about Original score almost everyone that seen it so far loved the music.

It was good, but I'd need to listen to it on youtube before judging. During the movie I never "felt" it.

Gravity's performance is very pleasing, while Rush is kind of pissing me off.

The best score rarely wins (Ennio Moricone would have won at least three if that was true) over the last six years the new guy always got it and since it will be Steven Price's first nomination he probably has a great chance of winning it.

I wish I had foreseen Gravity making this much. That way I would have included it in the poll - it now has a shot at over $300M dom.
