Star Trek deserves more.
It's a great movie. I liked it more than Iron Man 3, and I'm not a Trekkie

Oz could have done a lot better. Alice in Wonderland wasn't much better and it did over a billion. Iron Man 3 will be in the top 5 of world wide total grosses in a couple of days it needs less then $50 million more to knock Transformers: Dark of the Moon from the #5 spot.
Big Holiday Weekend.
Fast and Furious - $98.5m Looking to get $120m for the long weekend. #1 in all 60 new markets- $256m global.
Star Trek - holding well even with tough competition. I think it's the best movie of the summer so far and deserves much much more. $38m, down almost 50%. I'm hoping this movie will have long ass legs.
Iron man 3 - close to $20m. Now stands at #5 of all time worldwide chart $1.142m
Epic is looking to get $44m in 4 days for 3rd biggest toon opening ever for Memorial Holiday weekend.
Hangover 3 - $54m in 5 days. Not good at all, and the word of mouth is not good.
Damn Iron Man 3 made a bill. 'Sign' not the great movie i had hoped for, but at least i predicted it to hit the billion mark.
Bet with gooch_destroyer, he wins if FFX and FFX-2 will be at $40 each for the vita. I win if it dont

Fast 6 looks like it should do impressive numbers. 75% of its budge while Hangover did around 60%. It might not have good legs though but it is showing in my theatres for a while.
big movie coming out on September 13.

Mel Gibson is back!
Should give a little boost to boring September.
After Earth is the fist bomb of the summer movie season it got beat by a movie (Now You See Me) that had a $55 million dollar smaller budget and was released in almost 500 less theaters.
Well Jack was a spring movie and as bad as it did at least it won its box office on the opening weekend. Also After Earth still is not going bomb hard enough so that studios are going to stop hiring M Night as a director.
