Are people updating this thread with Box Office charts since the OP is gone?

Mordred comes back once a month or so, I think Axumblade changed the OP once. I usually just post the numbers on Sunday. If I am really excited for a movies gross I will post Friday's numbers on Saturday.

Yeah the OP looks like it hasn't been changed for a while. Anyways, good to know that you post numbers. You should be posting later today, right?

How many posts per page do you have? I post them about 6 posts ago.

Ok, I looked back and found it.

You know, you should just make a new thread so that the OP can be updated on a regular basis. Plus I would like to see a list of past movie grosses of bigger titles (for instance, I would like to know The Hobbit's box office stats). So maybe the top 20 grossing titles per year?

It is hard to break with tradition. Too bad mods cannot change ownership of threads. Besides I already have a movie thread.

Is it a box office movie thread?

I agree. I do not see what people's problem with Tom Cruise is. .. What more can we ask for?

Let's see:

1. More than one facial expression per movie?

2. Not wearing stilts in every scene with another actor? (*)

3. Not shilling for a dangerous cult?

(*) You did notice in every scene whith a woman, he was at least half a foot taller? In real life, the russian girl is one foot taller, the redhead is half a foot taller than TC. It must have been a hoot for the technicians to watch the awkward moves the cameramen had to do to give the impression that tiny Tom "towers the ladies"...

Actually the Russian woman is only one inch and a half taller then TC and readhead is the same heigh as TC 5'7".

You met like him if you keep seeing his movies. You got to admit, he does action well.

First time I saw TC in a movie was in "The Firm". Intelligent movie, horrible miscast actor, he almost ruined the movie so bad was his attempts at portraying a lawyer. About two TC movies later, I gave up, I just consider him a totally inept actor with zero talent. Maybe I'm alone in that opinion. I watched Oblivion since I watch most scifi movies, and the movie is just not good, regardless of TC's inept acting.

What is the problem ? Why change the OP ? I never said that I'll update the OP upon the creation of this thread. I don't even see how that would come in handy, or be a better solution than posting and discussing the numbers within the course of the thread.

First of all,it is a discussion thread. You can already check the numbers on boxofficemojo.com. The main purpose of the thread is to discuss the grosses that are already existent on that site.

Updated the thread poll.

This is where you will find the charts that yo_john has requested. It would be unaesthetic to fill the thread with charts that can be easily accessed there.

I'll update the OP with some essential links.

I honestly didn't know a site like that existed. However, having the relevent charts in the OP is always beneficial.

Also; I thought you were gone (this is the first time I've seen you post for months).

Thanks for the link, It's exactly what I wanted

Voted for Pacific Rim even though I'm not a huge fan of mecha, Iron Man 3 is probably a much safer bet though.

Are we talking world wide or domestic? F&F seems to grow with each new iteration.

Worldwide obviously. USA numbers only are boring and usually very predictable. "Foreign" is where it's at

The worldwide box office is becoming more important that is why a lot of Hollywood movies now get released first oversease before getting released domestically.
