Can Disney beat Universal's record 2015 domestic gross - $2.445 billion?

It will fall short of tha... 4 13.33%

Finding Dory, Doctor Stra... 20 66.67%

It's going to be very cl... 6 20.00%

Total:30

Hope Hobbit can get to $1.2 billion, looking unlikely though.

Django Unchained made another $ 1 million yesterday should easily make over $150 million dollars domestically.

LES MISERABLES was a good movie, but it got a little boring.

I kinda know that I saw the trailer for the movie six month before it came out.  You should give Croutching Tiger, Hidden Dragon a try unless you don't like martial arts movies House of Flying Daggers is very similar and I would recomment watching it also if you end up watching and liking  Croutching TIger, Hidden Dragon.

Added to my watch list. I liked Yip Man and Yip Man 2 so I'm sure I'll like those two.

They don't have hand to hand martial arts combat but if you liked Yip Man you should enjoy those two movies.  Still haven't seen Yip Man 2 but I have seen the first one once probably should rewatch it also.  Thought that Donnie Yen was very good as the lead role in Iron Monkey and as the villain in Shanghai Knights also.

Actually I think that Django Unchained has a change to surpass the remake of True Grit and become the highest grossing western domestically. Its almost $12 million dollars ahead of it when you compare both movies box office numbers on its 24th day of release.

Damn. Arnold is not back! The Last Stand starts with only $2m
The reviews were good and I will see it, but seems nobody cares.
Maybe having a Korean director was not a good idea - even though the rumor is that he did an excellent job.
I will see the movie to support the director more than Arnold.

Django Unchained should easily make over $160 million domestically now and is still ahead by a little more then $10 million dollars over True Grit so it still has a change of becoming the highest grossing domestic western.

I am going to guess it will not be top when adjusted by inflation. Some clinteastwood has to hold that.

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid hold the top spot adjusted for inflation it would have made $548,940,100 it made $102,308,889 in 1969.  In 1969 the average ticket price was $1.42 compared to $7.78 so far this year which is actually down 16 cents from last years average but I'm sure it will go up once more 3D and IMAX movies get released the highest grossing domestic Eastwood western is Unforgiven which made $101,157,447 in 1992 which would be close to $200 million adjusted for inflation.  It also had a very long theater run of 343 days (all the numbers are from box office mojo).

Finally some overseas numbers for Django Unchained its of to a great start with $48 million dollars made on its first weekend.

The Hobbit needs less then 80 million to pass the one billion mark now should do so in three to four weeks.  The Impossible is doing really good overseas was at $55 million overseas a couple of weeks ago and now is at $106 million.
