Can Disney beat Universal's record 2015 domestic gross - $2.445 billion?

It will fall short of tha... 4 13.33%

Finding Dory, Doctor Stra... 20 66.67%

It's going to be very cl... 6 20.00%

Total:30

190 million a movie sounds about right.  The previous trilogy the average was about 90 million per movie but it wasn't shot in 3D and 24 fps that alone added a lot more cost also from what I have heart the special effects in The Hobbit where a lot better then the effects in the first trilogy that added a lot of cost also.  The first movie will make over a billion at the box office so it will already turn a profit for all three movies.  Also I'm hoping that "Ancora Qui" from Django Unchained by Ennio Morricone and Elisa Toffoli will get nominated for a academy award for best orginal song tomorrow morning.

Ennio Morricone got snubbed again all the songs that got nominated are nowhere near as good as as "Ancora Qui". This is just as bad when he didn't get nominated for best original score for "Once Upon a Time in America" which got snubbed for numerous Oscar due to being poorly re-edited from 256 minute to 139 minutes in its wide North American release.

Skyfall 300 million!

Promise Land bombs? One of the few jiffy movies as of late. Everything else has been big. Even Jack Reacher is doing decent.

Promised Land only had a $15 million dollar budget its pretty much guranteed to make money eventually.  Going by reviews it looks like its a pretty mediocre movie almost 7 milion afer a little more then two weeks it actually decent money the first seven days where a limited release 25 screens its legs are poor because its not that good of a movie.

Gangster squad better have great legs, the movie is just brilliant! why aren't more people watching it :(

I am sure Matt Damonwas hoping for more. Seemed like it could have been annice family movie.

Its rated R I'm sure that with a few minor edits it could have been PG-13.

Sure doesn't look like it will have great legs.  Django Unchained does have good legs its now Tarantio's highest grossing movie in NA by more then $7 million.  I hope it will do good overseas also but still have to wait a week for any foreign numbers.

Life of Pi is pretty much out of American theaters. I think I missed it in dollar cinema. Sadly. Hope I did not miss it.

Its still playing 757 theater I don't think it made it to dollar cinemas yet probably will do so in a couple of weeks.   Still want to watch it also if its anywhere as good as the trailer it will probably surpass Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon as my favorite movie directed by Ang Lee.

I saw it yesterday and it was a great spectacle and overall a good movie. I wasn't blown away by it though. If you're going to see it, seeing it in a 3D cinema is kind of a must!

Not a fan of 3D so when I eventually see it, its going to be in 2D on Blu-ray.  Did you see Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon if you did how does it compare to it.

Life of Pi is MASSIVE overseas :o. Never would've expected that.
The Hobbit almost at $900m now. $1B guaranteed
Skyfall crawling to a halt. Has it launched in China yet?

Nope. Still has China! 1.1 billion possible

I kinda know that I saw the trailer for the movie six month before it came out.  You should give Croutching Tiger, Hidden Dragon a try unless you don't like martial arts movies House of Flying Daggers is very similar and I would recomment watching it also if you end up watching and liking  Croutching TIger, Hidden Dragon.
