Seriously? What did the last one make globally?

Not to shabby for a thread made for one reason during the gamrRewards War of 2011! Congratz! Twas a good idea.

The sole reason I created this thread was because I love the boxoffice. I wouldn't have relied on social points to be a cut above the rest.

The Hobbit can't reach $1 bn. I'd guess it will probably reach $850 million.

Life of Pi was an awesome movie. Probably my favorite movie of 2012.

This year Men of steel, star track and iron man 3 can reach that mark.

None of the above will hit a billion I'm afraid. That makes me wonder which films will actually hit it...is there a James Cameron movie on the way?

The next Transformer movie (2014) will hit a billion it will suck big time also.

Hobbit is going to do 1 billion......

Les Mis wil tank after the holidays. Only reason it's doing well is that men are trying to please their spouses or gfs.
That movie made me lie to my wife. I told her that I really liked the movie - 'she was in tears and all'.
my kid fell asleep so only fun time in the movie was when I was trying to keep my son from snoring loud.
First 30 minutes were ok, then the last 2 hours felt like 5 hours.
Any positive word on Django Unchained? my kids want to see that next. But I might hold off from the movies until OZ, in March

My brother watched it and loved it.  I don't think its a movie for kids though since it a strong R rated movie.

Because it has already opened in all of its major markets and will drop like a rock in the next few weeks.

Hmm yes but if a mess like TDKR or Alice in Wounderland can hit 1 bil it will be sad if the Hobbit 1 doesn't :/
