Life of Pi is generating good reviews so my wife and I went to see it the other day although I don't like Ang Lee too much.
i should have stayed home. glad it's doing well at the box-office, but I did not like it.

Skyfall was a good movie - not that great. Wreck it Ralph was better. - which btw may reach $200m. in NA - maybe

I think there is no maybe about it Wreck-It Ralph will pass the $200 millon mark domestically in a couple of weeks it has very good legs.  It will probably end up making slightly more then Tangled which is very good since it had a budget that is almost $100 million dollars less.  It will probably make more money on merchandising then Tangled also.

Skyfall grossed $34 million from 84 markets this weekend. It reached Japan, one of its final major territories, and earned an estimated $5.93 million. While that doesn't look like much, it is 51 percent higher than Quantum of Solace. Elsewhere, its top territory was once again Australia with $8 million, while its U.K. total pushed past $150 million (it's now a day or two away from becoming the top movie ever there ahead of Avatar). Skyfall's new foreign total is $623 million (a Bond record by nearly $200 million), and worldwide it's at $869 million. From its existing markets, it's going to easily get past $950 million, and it will be up to China to close the gap to $1 billion.

1 billion here we come.

It's gonna happen.

Ugh it looks like Breaking Dawn Part 2 will make at least $100 million more then Part 1. Anyway nothing good is coming out this week, the box office will get a major boost in ten days when The Hobbit gets released.

Because it never had the huge following overseas like it has in the US.  If that would be the case it would have made over $700 million dollars overseas.

Wwow I have been out of it. Breaking dawn has been out for 3 weeks and is about to break 800 million ww?

Brad pitt failed! Argo broke 100 million!

I wouldn't say it failed the movie only had a $15 million dollar budget and it did better overseas and will end up making money at the box offfice its already slightly over $24 million dolllars world wide.

Bond #1 again and Twilight #3 in the US this weekend! Bond might even overtake Twilight again.

If that happens then I lost all faith in humanity

I am thinking Hobbit will be huge. BTW anyone got numbers of BO compared to last year? Should it not be significantly ahead due to the huge releases this year?
