Well as some other users mentioned. Spidey has still China left but i dpoubt that it will make 50 M there. Spiderman 3 only make about 20 m so if TASM can to the same than it will reach the 700-720 M range which is pretty good for a reboot with a new cast and a new director.

And Batman actually is doing worse in the USA than TDK but better overseas. So i guess 1b is the path for the movie when all is said and done.
But it wont make the top spot again this weekend as Bourne Ultimatum is released.

My predictions for Batman:

Domestic: 467M

OS: 721m

1.19B which makes it the 5th highest grossing film of all time.

500M for TDKR looks very unlikely 440-460 is a more realistic approach

its doing worse in america because of the shooting, I know it. That physco had everybody worrying. I was watching the movie in a theater last thursday and the amount of people constantly looking at the hallway to check to see if there was a shooter coming up was insane.

Still way too early to tell what The Dark Knight Rises final domestic total will be since it will have a very long theater run since the Blu-Ray/DVD doesn't come out until December the 9th.

It was on track to beat the Avengers opening weekend record only because of one pysco its lagging behind TDK but if it has amazing longterm legs than $500M can be a possibility. And $1.2B WW can happen.

TDKR is gonna pass Inception this weekend.

It seems unlikely TDKR will beat its predecessor.

Probably a lack of repeat viewing. I know a lot of people which saw the predessor on multiple times. I'm not hearing that kind of enthousiasm for TDKR.
