The Watch will be one of a few movies this year that are sort of big to lose a bunch of money. Unless Overseas comes through with it...

is not doing too well either, Thank God! Because it is almost as implausible as Tom Cruise doing karate in MI2

It will probably lose money at the box office but it will not get a lot of attention because the budget was under $100 million and it didn't get advertised a lot.  By the time they had to rename the title of the movie from Neighborhood Watch to the Watch the studio probably already knew the final product was nothing special and they cut down on their advertising budget a lot.  Step Up Revolutions only had a $33 million dollar budget even if it loosed some at the box office I'm guessing it will make money once its out on Blu-ray/DVD and on cable and demand.  I'm guessing they will at least make one more sequel.  Just looked at box office numbers for the previous Step Up movies its very unlikely that Step Up Revolutions will lose money at the box office the overseas numbers will make it profitable even if it makes less then 1/3 of the previous movie overseas.

Does anyone know how The Dark Knight Rises is looking to do on Monday?

Can't help you with Monday's numbers either looked at the forum about box office numbers discussed in this thread a couple of days ago but couldn't figure out where to go to find out about early estimates. So I stick with box office mojo for all my numbers. Which I think is a great site expect it could be better if they included box office numbers for some pictures released before 1980 even if its mostly only estimates. It would also be nice if they could have some numbers of movies that made a good amount of money overseas but never where shown in the US.

TDKR - 8.2m on Monday.. off about 50%

$2m off from TDK

Expecting an increase on Tuesday ...

Why?

Considering beating the Avengers WW is not an option anymore however does anyone here think it can beat Transformers 3?

Don't know still too early to tell at this point its pretty much guranteed to make more world wide then MIB3 got to wait a week or more for anything else.

TDKR third fastest to $300 million dollars domestically once today's numbers come in.

If anything, The Dark Knight Rises is a bad title.

What's that about? He already 'rose' two films ago. With the title they're only trying to ride on the previous movie's popularity. Which is smart, okay I'll give it that, but still lame. They should've named it something else, and therefore it deserves to end up lower than it's predecessor.

But anyway .

Whatever.
