Settle down man. You can't blame people for being a little pissed off. Won't you be a little pissed if more 3ds games in the future require a 2nd circle pad and your forced to carry one of these stupid pieces of shit around just because you bought a 3ds within the first 6 months. 

Not going to happen because its a cradle. Also its seems that it was made for games as complex as Monster Hunter.  Hell its possible that Capcom made it and not Nintendo. Either way i am not pissed off about. The larger picture is all the doom and gloom for Nintendo. For some people anything that Nintendo does is always wrong and that will never change.

The problem this time around is that most of those people happen to be 3DS owners. There's no denying they rushed to purchase a poorly designed or at least an incomplete product.

Glad people have started to ignore these comments, I personally don't care simply because I'm not going to respond to you after this, but wanted to point out no one thinks Nintendo gets it right every time, virtual boy, ROB, Steel Diver, and the original Wii Play prove that point, therefore it makes saying this (a product that is leaked, not shown off, nor has anyone even gotten a hands on with it to prove it's a mistake) is somehow the product that proves Nintendo makes mistakes is rather pointless due to the aforementioned reasons... it isn't even fucking out... if you wanted to make that sort of comment why not make your own thread and discuss all of the mistakes Nintendo makes, so you can blatantly say "haha Nintendo doesn't get it right everytime", sure it's baiting, but not like you'd get in trouble for it.

Because it was an unnecessarily argumentative comment. Many in here have said this was a dumb move (i myself am torn, since it is a strategically brilliant knock against the PSP), but Seece framed his criticism as a means to bait Nintendo fans into biting back. Which succeeded in Maxwell's case, and now has successfully derailed the thread

e.g., a perfectly successful shot of trolling that, on the surface, looks perfectly innocent, will be interpreted as innocent by the higher-ups, but has succeeded in breeding discord in the discussion

I was planning on getting a 3DS for my fiancée around October or December, but now I am not so sure I should. Nintendo should have never let Capcom design this thing.

I guess it's more reason for Nintendo to make a redesign. Remember before they say there is no reason for redesign because 3DS already have a good form factor. But with this, redesign seems more obvious. Addition of second slider pad is more than enough for them to do a redesign, especially if they want to make the second slider pad mandatory.

This circle pad slide expansion thing looks ugly, it makes the 3DS bulky and it will damage the portability of the 3DS as well. It also means now developers are in the awkward position of having to either develop two different control schemes or ignore it which would make it pointless in the first place. This does kinda screw us early adopters as well a bit. I wouldn't be surprised if we see a redesign as early as next year tbh.

You really don't know what the hell you're talking about and never have.  I love my PS3 I hate people needlessly bashing any product and in my time I've moderated numerous people baselessly bashing Sony.  

The problem being the demographic that seems to support certain consoles or teams as they seem to group themselves as like to turn normal discussion into fights, needlessly, here at VGC prior to the surge in this demographic in 2008 we used to have little to no thread turn into these needless fights, it all fell under baiting and thread derailment, so yes those "2/3rds" that you claim would probably be banned if moderation still made sense, but for that matter you probably wouldn't last that long either, but I really wouldn't expect many of the people still left to realize any of this simply because they're the cause of the distruction of the community here.  

And with that I bid everyone a good day, unless I have something epic to state in the future I'm not going to waste my time with these "forums"

lololololol oh trust me maxwell..many here, including me know EXACTLY what you are :) and if anyone should get banned around here..it should probably start with you. the only time moderation made no sense was when you were around who was pretty much the worst mod I have EVER seen on the net..and that's saying something.
