Forums - General Discussion - French Dude Forced to Pay Ex-Wife Damages for Not Having Enough Sex With Her

Couldn't have said it better myself, but, just like in the case of actual accounts of rape, it often only works for the female side (which I completely understand is the most vulnerable sex in these cases and that suffers the most sexual-related abuses).

I have a friend that was raped by his ex-GF when he decided that he didn't want to be with her anymore (she was a bit of a gold-digger). She drugged him and tied him to a chair and had her way with him, claiming that no one would belive his side of the story and that she would get away with any excuse she wanted and that she would make sure that no other girl would go out with him by portraying him as the offender.

Well, long story short, he took his case to court, he even had his rope burn marks checked out in the hospital which coincided with burn marks that actual rape victims have (higher degree of burning due to struggling and so on) and he had also other physical evidence that he was the victim in that case. The case never got through, because the judge dismissed it, claiming that there's no way to prove that it wasn't consented sex between both and that the evidence was inconclusive and took her testimony as being more valid than my friend's.

Needless to say that the guy is still a wreck nowadays (this happened 6 years ago, shortly after entering college) and that he simply has given up dating or getting to know other girls. Unfortunately, most of the people that know of his story simply just laugh it off, because a man is supposed to accept any kind of sex and that society has this stigma that a man cannot be raped by a woman.

Hypocrisy at it's best.

OMG, that's one of the most disgusting things I've ever heard. Funny how if he had druged and raped her, there's no way people wouldn't have believed her if she said it was rape. I've heard a similar story on another thread about men getting raped by women.

This woman was dating a guy, and their relationship was on the rocks. She decided that she had to do something, because she was afraid he'd dump her, so she took him to a party, kept giving him drinks (didn't drink anything herself, saying someone needed to be the designated driver), and when they left the party the guy was so drunk, he essentially passed out. The woman had sex wit him without a condom hile he was passed out (she may have slipped him some Viagra, but I can't remember for sure) and she got pregnant. She did this mainly 'cause she knew that the guy's conservative Christian parents would force him to marry her, which is exactly what happened. The story was told by the woman's sister (guess she didn't have enough decency to expose her diabolical sibling).

Forced to marry your rapist and raise the product of the rape. Nice story, huh?

There are a large number of cases like these ones in our society. As much as we want to say that we live in an equalitarian society, we don't. Women are discriminated in some aspects of society, that's true, but when it comes to sexual equality and the consequences of the sexual act, I believe it's the other way around.

Rape is rape, whether you're a woman or a man. Rape clearly defines "The unlawful compelling of a person through physical force or duress to have sexual intercourse" with person being any kind of person. Sadly it doesn't work that way.

I'm a strong supporter of equality in society. Men and women should have the same rights, be judged by the same standards and have access to similar support, remuneration, compensation and care. Though, unfortunately, that's not what happens in society nowadays.

Yes, sadly what you say is true. We shouldn't stand around and do nothing though. Society won't change by itself.

Well alittle off topic but on topic.

I was out walking with a friend and two guys came running toward us. Their was a group of girls screaming and running after them. They were like stop them they raped our friend. Me and my buddy stopped the two guys and the girls came. I told the girls I was calling the police, but they then freaked out. They were like "We don't want to involve the police" and I was like "Umm what do you want then". They told me that their boy friends were on their way to mess the two guys up.

The two guys denied having raped the girl. I pulled out my phone and was beginning to dial and the girls started screaming and yelling grabbed my phone. I then talked to my friend and we decided that if the police weren't involved we weren't going to hold onto two guys. So we turned around and told the girls we were letting them go if police weren't involved.

The girls started screaming and one began crying. But we had no choice its kidnapping to hold onto a guy like that and since we knew the girls friends were going to kick the crap out of them we would have been accomplices.

When the girls refused to let us call the cops we let go of the two guys. The girls tried attacking them but we blocked them so the two guys could get away.

The real question is, why didn't the girls want the police involved? If what they said was true then the girl should have gone to the hospital for a rape kit and the two guys should have been arrested.

What do you guys think, should we have held onto those two guys till the girls boy friends arrived without involving police. Or did we do the right thing in releasing the two guys?

Personally, I would have called the police no matter what the girls said. Rape accusations are serious business and should be properly dealt.

My take on the whole ordeal? The boys actually did something upsetting to the girls and they wanted their boyfriends to kick the crap out of the boys, but I hardly believe it involved rape. Probably some cheeky comment or maybe one of the guys pinched one of the girls in the ass or something (I have personally seen that happen before).

The reason for that is simple. No rape actually took place. As lesterdark said, those boys probably did something to annoy the girls, and they were using that rape story to get you to hold on to them. You did the right thing by letting them go.

I would do the job for him for a much smaller sum, he should have asked it on Facebook.

Soliciting prostitution is illegal.

yeah but I'm not getting paid from the woman, the man pays me to make his wife happy, so I'm a marriage councillor.

It's still prostitution, but the police will probably love that excuse.
