There are a large number of cases like these ones in our society. As much as we want to say that we live in an equalitarian society, we don't. Women are discriminated in some aspects of society, that's true, but when it comes to sexual equality and the consequences of the sexual act, I believe it's the other way around.

Rape is rape, whether you're a woman or a man. Rape clearly defines "The unlawful compelling of a person through physical force or duress to have sexual intercourse" with person being any kind of person. Sadly it doesn't work that way.

I'm a strong supporter of equality in society. Men and women should have the same rights, be judged by the same standards and have access to similar support, remuneration, compensation and care. Though, unfortunately, that's not what happens in society nowadays.

Yes, sadly what you say is true. We shouldn't stand around and do nothing though. Society won't change by itself.
