Yeah it is a little trickier. I am not planning on calculating the difference myself because that would just be too time consuming. I've tried to design the game a little bit differently this year for it to work better with less data. There are only 4 tiers of games this year instead of 6, and the free agent pool was added so people wouldn't have to be stuck with a title that gets them 0 for the whole game.

I added this to the OP now as well, but in order for the game to be counted it will either have to be in the WW top 40, or if it shows up in any of the regional top 40 charts then the sales for that region will be counted. If it doesn't show up in either place it counts as 0.

Well that would make a lot of zeros. I don't mind helping calculate the difference between some games. Maybe if we get enough volunteers, we could still do this.

After looking at it a bit more you are right. There is basically no chance that more than a couple of the games in round 4 make it into the top 40 in any region. So, I'm going to change the rule for round 4 games and I will keep up with the weekly sales of those titles manually which shouldn't take too long. For the other games (round 1-3 and bonus games) I'm going to stick to my original rules about it being in the WW top 40 or regional top 40. I think there are enough games in each of those rounds that should chart, that the number of 0s should be similar to last year.

Okay, that's fair, but if I'm bored I may just help you tally the games in other rounds.

I'm a little discouraged about the lack of interest/sign ups for the game so far. I was really hoping to get a lot of players this year. It seemed like once the game got going last year there was quite a bit of interest from other people who wished they had signed up. That plus the number of people from last year who are playing again this year makes me think that it is a fun game, but I must not be presenting it well with the thread title or original posts. I've updated those a little bit and I am hoping that will help.

I was originally hoping to get as many as 44 for players, but now I'm looking to get that number to 22.
My plan is to have two “leagues”, a blue league and a green league. During the regular season the two leagues will be completely separate, and you will only be playing against other people in the same league. At the end of the regular season the top two players from each league will advance to the playoffs, and the winner of that will be the winner of the overall game.

Players in each league will be picking from the same list of games in the draft, but it will be two separate drafts (with the information in different posts). So if a player in the blue league picks Modern Warfare 3 (PS3) in the first round that means no other player in the blue league can pick MW 3 (PS3), but that pick has no impact on the draft for the players in the green league. It is less confusing then it sounds, and I think the two separate draft posts should make it easy to follow.

So for now, I'm really trying to get 10 more players to fill out the green league. If we get those 10 players before the 15th I'll go ahead and stop sign ups and we can begin the draft. If you want to be in a certain league to be able to play against your friends let me know.

You've got the idea right about picking one game from each round, but it's not time to pick those four games yet. The way that works is once we get enough players I'll post the order that people get to choose from each round in the draft. So you have to waint until it is your turn in each round (when the draft starts I'll update the thread title and change the information in the two draft posts so people will know what to do).

For the bonus game Battlefield 3 (360) is listed as one of the games in the first round, and your bonus game cannot be any of the games listed in the 3rd post (either as one of 4 draft rounds or one of the bonus games someone else picked). So you'll need to pick a different bonus game. It can be difficult with that many games listed, but people are still coming up with good choices.
