Because MGS is a hugely popular series and Deus Ex is mostly unheard of and nobody cares for it?

Yes this is exactly what this site needs, trolling from a 12 year old kid on a franchise that started 11 years ago. That's just great, it states your off line now, must be time for your nap..

lol lol lol you actually thought i was 12. Gullible or what, it takes 2 mins to sign up to this site who cares what age you pick, just pick any number. Why would anyone care how old someone else is on this site, except you, you seem to be pretty interested in made up ages.

All you are doing is making yourself look dumb.  Like you said it takes 2 mins to sign up.  Well it only takes 2 seconds to choose the correct age.  Bet you are 12. If not, you still act like it

I'm done with you kid... the only other time i will look at your profile is when i see you banned for your trolling, which from the looks of things will be pretty soon....

Maybe you shouldnt have started trying to seek my attention the first time eh? now you go run back to your hole and stay put. No matter how many times i get banned i will always without fail come back.

you don't like MGS series or I am guessing any gme by Kojima Hideo-san for that mater but it's still your opinion not the general conciseness so there is no point in arguing this any more since it would be easer to argue with a brick wall.

he doesn't like it simply because its a console game.

those inferior games....!

The game would never work on a PC (3rd person games never do), it's the 10 hours of shit that I have to sit through if I want to play through it. As I said earlier, I can go watch the Godfather in that time.

I can see how someone would get annoyed at the cutscenes. I skip most of them myself. However, people dont understand that this is the conclusion to the story of Solid Snake, which started in the early 90's. They had to wrap up all the loose plot ends (and there were a few) which IMHO they did. What more do you want?? Better yet, how would you have gone about concluding the series, wrapping up loose ends without the cutscenes??? Would you have preferred texts, like FF13?? Or they could have pulled a LOST and only answered half the questions.

The story itself was bad (lulnanomachines) and like you pointed out, FF13 was also pretty bad. LOST was great for the first 2 seaons then careened into shittyness beyond belief very quickly, so using them as examples isn't all that great.

I knew this thread was going to be like this. XD.

I like them both. Both of those series are in my top 3. I like invisible war like mummelman. It's worse than the original or Human Revolution in almost every single way (except that you can pick up everything in Invisible war)

The only metal gear solid game I think is merely "good" is the one everyone seems to be gaga over. And I think the others are great.

The game looks awesome, but the first person view is a deal breaker for me. I just can't play FPS on console, it drives me nuts!! Watched both video you linked, I find it a little confusing when the game goes from 3rd person to first person and vice-versa.

Maybe I'm just too old to adapt to this kind of camera and controller combination. :P

im not critiquing the stories, your missing the point. All i asked was how you would tie up the multitude of plot points in MGS series, WITHOUT the use of cutscenes. People down the scenes, but no one has yet to give an alternative

You can get it on PC and it's not too demanding (in terms of system specs). Also, the 1st-3rd person camera shifting actually works very well; I barely noticed it whilst playing.

I don't see the similarities to MGS at all.

The futuristic settings, the first person view, the storytelling.

The only thing they seem to have in common is stealth.
