What really matter... down even with PS3 cut... IMPOSSIBLE... VGC is funny some times.

Gran Turismo 5 (PS3)
Sony Computer Entertainment, Racer

And the new sales graph...

Why would you buy it now if the much cheaper platinum version hits within 2 weeks?

You know, I know... but the normal people don't know.

You can't really say anything until PD actually update the numbers they have.

Until then, VGC is all we have.

I guess those are pretty good numbers for Xenoblade, but it's like 30 million less than what it deserves. Hopefully the next few weeks will be decent.

GT5 re-entered and climbed several of the PAL charts this week as well as several other old PS3 games as well like God of War 3, Skate 3, RDR, and Uncharted 2. Which leads me to the rather logical conclusion that PS3 SW is undertracked this week.

Proudest Platinums:
1. Gran Turismo 5
2. Persona 4 Arena
3. Wipeout HD
4. Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2
5. Super Street Fighter 4

In that case, I'll shut up and get my pitchfork out.

PS3 did 2k short of what I expected (180k). Not bad, I think it may stretch to 195-200k next week, but not much more. This cut won't have anywhere near the effect the 2009 cut had (although it wasn't in a position where it needed that anyway, considering it's been winning week after week since the start of the year).

It's November & December where I think we'll see the cut's true effect. The 3DS looks good too, although I wonder how long this cut's effect will sustain.

yea i think it was an effective pricing strategy to reach that sweet spot of $199 in an efective time period for the launch of PS4 in 2014

This.

PS3 should see a fairly decent rise next week in both NA and EMEAA but nothing too drastic.

3DS the big winner here, the price cut was desperatly needed, which really makes you wonder how Vita will perform.....

360 just doing OK. Expect BIG hardware rise with Gears though at the end of September

Halo Reach's legs are SEXXXY should be around 9.5 million by the end of the year and over 10 million sometime next year.

Terrible for PS3, if it doesnt increase next week itll have been a disaster.
