3DS drop is pretty bad, considering 3ds had only 2-3 days of price cut from last week, it meant that it sold between 65-97K per day. Now this week, it's averaged 15K sales per day. Hopefully, this is just a problem of lack of software(as shown by the lack of 3DS SW in the top 20) leading to its massive drop from last week or maybe this is the time when 3DS stabilizes its sales.

Oh sh.

3DS price-cut actually started on August 11 so there should have been 4 days of pricecut.

So it averaged around 48K for 4 days.

It's still a hefty drop from last week but not as bad 65k-97k. LOL

 

PS3's increase in sales is decent but maybe this is just an effect of the immediate price drop, probably from lack of coverage or .the price cut still haven't hit that sweet spot.

Let's all enjoy X360 being in that list now that we still can, since it's being pulled from stores in Japan. Microsoft gave it all they got though, so they can't be blamed.

Actually it's a decent drop considering how the Japanese market is. 100 thousand second week after a price drop is actually amazing imo (even though it is a pretty early price drop)

i was filling more 90k-100k but i've been told i make predictions that are to ambitious so i went with 40k.

if either happens i'll be happy but i think 50k-75k is more likely.

Just over a 9k increase for the PS3? That's pretty weak...I thought it would do more since every place that I've been to that sells games(electronic store/video store/department store/etc.) has had some type of information/poster up showing the new prices for the 2 PS3 models. (160gb/320gb)

The 3DS managed to hold on pretty nicely in the 2nd week of the price drop. Next week's numbers should be more telling of how the numbers will be for the next few weeks of sales.

Rhythm Heaven Wii maintains the top spot at 48k. Kirby is holding up nicely as well at #3, 35k. I just picked up my copy of it last week.

Well, next week we have MH3rd P HD, and in 3 weeks Tales of Xilia. I'm thinking 45k next week and 45k again in Xillia Week.
