Forums - Microsoft - Forza 4: Future-proofing the series?

They should make it drivable. It's too pretty to just look at.

Didnt Polyphony Digital state that the HD cars in the game have 2 versions. One for the races and one for Photo Mode, which was of a much higher polygon count than those of the racing versions. And that those would be used for the next generation of GT games? And than all they would have to do is continue on making more HD cars in the same fashion for future games.

I also dont understand how F3 beat GT5 but oh well

Only 200 cars. The rest is nearly copy pasted from GT4. T10 have for all cars in the game (over 500) high poly models and the ones you see in garage have much more polys than premium cars in GT5.

And Autovista models are the ones of ultimate quality.

Hhahaha nice one, any proof? No. Nothing goes higher than what you see in GT5's Photo Mode.

Real life called, and it disagrees with you.

And you think you're funny by answering that? We're talking about racing sim/racing games, so stick to that case. Ty...

Actually what you should have said is that "Nothing yet goes higher than what you see in GT5's photo mode"

He doesn't need to since the time and date of his statement is there to be seen by all.

Useless comments result in more useless comments.

He inital statement was nonsense unless he's played Forza 4.

My statement was made at a time where Forza 4 wasn't even out, and still isn't out, so I'll repeat myself, nothing goes higher than what you see in GT5's Photo Mode as of August the 30th of the fucking 2011 year. Bye.

For all the people comparing the 200 cars in GT5 vs the 500 in Forza, Kaz has said all along that he intends to make all 1,000 + in GT5 into full premium. Thing is...each car takes six months to make, so....yeah, it's going to take time and going to be released in stages, but that six months work per car is going to pay off. Kaz said he originally wanted two more years to finish this. So, seven years work vs a racing game released every couple years...I'll take the seven years effort.

800 cars at 6 months each? Only 400 years to go thank god, at least it won't drag on.
