5 PS3 games are already over 1M, Motorstorm and R:FoM are over 2M. Fifa 08, NES Pro Street and Uncharted will sell 1M soon.

The reason why the 360 version of VF5 didn't do as well (besides it being released later) is because of these two things

1.VF is liked by Japanese so why would they get the 360 version?
2.American gamers (average gamers/casual gamers) are starting to like American made games more than Japanese games (an interesting trend as of late). Regardless if the 360 version has online, it probably doesn't appeal to them as much
as the PS3 version does to hardcore VF fans.

Most had a slow climb to that status though and a couple were bundled.

Uncharted is probably the first fast selling potential million seller that wasn't a launch title or bundled.

Even an acclaimed game like Bioshock was limited in its sales by its approach towards the FPS genre, it simply didn't appeal to as many as a game like Halo did. No matter how good MGS4 is don't think a franchise which barely sold a million with it last installment (MGS3) can break records with the fourth.

I have a feeling we'll be somewhat dissapointed with MGS4's reception.


 MGS3:Substinence the re-release sold 1 million, MGS3:Snake Eater (the original game) sold 4 million

How could you not know mgs3 substinence was a  re release??? how could you not know that.. im not trying to be rude or anything but this is why i never pay attention to what you say..... this is why people shouldnt comment on stuff that they have no clue on whatsoever.... im not saying that everyone knew that but come on if you're not familiar with the MGS series then why comment?? fanboyism at its finest boy i'll tell ya...

I don't think it's coming to 360... yet.

I don't get why people are saying it's not coming "because Kojima said so".

That's pretty much what a times exclusive is. Nearly every big time exclusived the developer claims that another version isn't happening then 6 months later it does.

tombi please read my previous comment and ignore she doesnt know what shes talking about shes been blinded.... motorstorm yes was bundled... resistance was briefly bundled in europe but resistance has sold a mil alone in america.. call of duty and assassins creed and pes have all done well... and fifa if you wann add that too..
