I think all that means is that the PS3 doesn't have to waste processing time to render graphics on the Vita since Vita has it's own processor. I think I also remember reading that Sony saying the same thing.

yeah which means devs will not have to develop PS VITA specific things as it will take the same thing as PS3
meh... the PSP already has this and we all know how that turned out..

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)
Alll I want to know is: Do I have to buy the same game 2wice to play on both consoles.
I would have to say "yes" to that. While you might be able to link the PS Vita to take advantage of certain games that offer it, I don't think you can "swap" games from the Vita to the PS3.

swapping won't happen but devs will be able to work in the same ecosytem to develop for both the system and coding will be in the same enviorement.resolution and other stuff that is console specific will be the difference but the experience will be the same

Probably, though with all Vita games being downloadable you might get a free version... But I remember PES having stuff where you could carry on your Master League save on the go, but only if you bought the game twice

No it means that devs could develop a game that could use the Vita to run part of the game that is running on the PS3 as in the Vita could proccess the gestures and report the resaults back to the PS3 without the PS3 having to proccess the raw touch input for example.
Games still need to be developed specifically for the Vita and you can't just run the same code on both.

Educated guess says 99% chance that yes you have.
