If they just crash land on earth and charge at us heads on like bunch of brutes as shown in all these dumb ass alien invasion movies, then yes we may stand a chance, but since they're obviously more advanced than us why would they not use any advanced tactics at all? if they have super duper mega advanced space ships, why would they want to give us a fighting chance by engaging us in the atmosphere? they can just blast us from the orbit above.

In a more realistc invasion scenario, the aliens will gather information on us first, and design a perfect attack plan, they will not reveal themselves until they're ready to execute their plan. our satellites will be the first targets, once they're down we will fall into a world wide communication failure, in the confusion the alien invading force will cripple the countries that are powerful enough to pose threats to them. All political and military leaders of the USA, China and Russia will be disintegrated before they know what the fuck is going on, followed by the missile launchers and airports, the aliens will know precisely where they are according to their intel, once these are gone we're pretty much done for, conventional military is useless since they're attacking from the orbit. then they will systematically wipe out our defence and go on to enslave us or take our water or do whatever they want like using earth as their new holiday resort and keep us as sex slaves.

Sex slave?

Count me in!

aliens don't exist and never will

we are the only ones in the universe

even if aliens existed, they would have a different dimension

they should have developed around the same time as earth did from the beginning of the universe and have the same kind of materials as us to even realize that they are there

Define "alien". What if there are plants or bacteria that exist in another planet? Those would be considered alien.

OT: No because I doubt there is another life form out there that is intelligent like us.

they can't be as they would have to have the same conditions as earth and also same time from the BIG BANG to develop

yeah there could be one way if a planet on which life was there,in some way life went from this planet to another planet then it could exist.like a plnet getting destroyed and astroid of the bacteria from same go and settle on different planets

then it can exist like different races form on earth

The human race can only travel to the moon, and some other planets that are relatively near, so if the aliens can travel from another galaxy/universe to earth, that means they have the technology to kick our human a$$es if they want to.

Aliens most probably come here to kick our a$$ when they realize we have the tech to colonize other planets. Because by how the human species behaves, it would be better to eradicate it before stupidity takes over the galaxy.

Nice post.

The human race as a whole is one big facepalm.

why do you make the assumption that all life must be composed of the same materials and must undergo the same conditions to develope?

it doesn't

the point u are not understanding is that how much time does one life take to exist

for that you have to understand einstein time theory

also when a life is formed,we can only come in contact or perceive our world.we just wouldn't understand other life form as they would have a totally different perception of the world.

kinda like dogs, they are colorblinded.so they do not perceive the world in the same way.thats the diversity on our planet itself.

scenario based example: totally different conditions for evolution will make your perception totally different.its like some advanced aliens developed a technology and placed it on earth(example gold)we think of it as just a material as we cannot yet comprehend how it works

If a race of beings is capable of traveling the great distance on space in a reasonable time frame:

1) Its absurd to think it hasn't already been studying us at a molecular level.
2) Its absurd to think it wouldn't have created a virus that would greatly wipe us out without them putting one "foot" on the ground.
3) This is all with the assumption that they intend to do harm and are not simply explorers.

I tend to think we would have already been wiped out by aliens if it weren't for other aliens who potentially saved us from them.

i.e. I believe that just as there are good and bad people, leaders, governments, etc... there are good and bad advanced alien species.

The good hopefully outweigh the bad.. as is typically the case in any society, and these good groups have worked their might to let us and other lesser advanced people's be on our own without much interference.

so your saying theres no way in hell its possible for there to be an advanced race of something else other then humans out there? come o nobi you know were not alone. wait! your apart of the cover up airn't you?

ot: no. we'd die a painful anal probing death.

Meh.. we would win.. we would just stay in our caves with our AK47 and annoy the aliens, with all their superior tech, long enough untill they don't care anymore...

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

It all depends on their intellectual abilities. If they're smarter than us,they win.If not..we win.

It depends on quite a bit.

For one thing humans have always shown themselves to be adept at picking up technology pretty quickly - take the Maori land wars for example where within ~40 years of western technology arriving the Maori were in some ways more advanced at using it for warfare than the Europeans.

For another we have no guarantees that the aliens will have really developed warfare, in which case our focus on using technology for killing things might give us an advantage.

You seriously think there could be no violent conflicts in their world?

If all the nations around the world put up a fight together against the invaders, it might last a day or less and we'll lose. We don't know anything about their technologies, weaponry, and ways of communication. If we use nukes, we'll be hurting ourselves, and the environment for many years.

Or we'll just give up without a fight. No doubt that the invaders will have the entire world surrounded.

If we can't match their technologies with our own, then it is already a lost for Earth. We still rely on fossil fuels and projectile weapons.
