MS has to cut price. PS3 has been cut $150 since the last 360 price cut. It is time.
Kinect: $99
Xbox 360 4GB: $129
Xbox 360 4 GB with Kinect: $199
Xbox 360 250 GB: $199
Xbox 360 250 GB with Kinect: $279
Xbox 360 special edition with Gears of War $249
Xbox 360 special edition with Star Wars and Kinect: $299



Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.

Seems to allign well. If they don't cut in September I can't see them cutting at all, and I'm not sure how they'll outsell PS3 this year WW like they claim.

Perhaps they're talking shipments though, as they're already 500k ahead.

I think MOST of the retailers will cut 360 prices right now, but MS will wait a few more weeks to do it.

However I think MS has some ace up it sleeves. The 250 gloss SKU being discontinued, more than 1 year since the last chip/board revision are indication that something big is coming this hollyday season.

They are very reliant they will beat PS3 and Wii WW this year.

MS wouldn't make the comment that they would be the best selling console worldwide if they didn't have something to show for it. Expect a huge price cut this year(not sure when though, maybe Gears 3 release) when I say huge I mean about $100.

The focus will be on the Kinect bundles but price cuts will happn of which I have no doubt. I am with Seece though they will likely cut the price on their own terms and with a smill hint of fanfare so possibly at TGS or sooner with a conference introducing the new dashboard and new models.
