I only play Call Of Duty games and Fifa
I trust no one, not even myself.| morenoingrato said: So, I've always been a gaming and a Nintendo fan at heart, I've played many of my games countless of times, getting every coin, cutting every piece of grass, opening every chest, clearing all of the screen before I could continue. But not anymore. I started to have this feeling as soon as I finished DKCR on my Wii, I finished it, and just didn't feel like ever playing it again. Same with Pikmin 2 I bought in the same time, and while playing through them I loved them. Then the other day I got Ghost Trick for my DS, loved it, played it and left it there to die. Then the other day I finally realized that I looked at my vast collection of games wondering what to replay. I couldn't stand any of my games more than 5 minutes before leving them to gather dust. Then I noticed something worse, my so much played Wii wasn't played since early june, and I'm pretty sure my DS was in a similar state. Afterwards I noticed all of the hype I had for 3DS after E3 was gone too, I might not be geting it at all at this rate. It just that I jus don't feel like gaming or doing anything videogame related, my fantasy is gone, I hope in the future this madness is ended. Does anyone feel the same? Magic for your games is gone? You don't wanna play more games? |
I quit gaming for 8 years (from year 2000 to 2008).
Since then I got me a Wii (2008), a PS3 (2009), a gaming PC (2010) and I was actually thinking in getting me a 3DS this year.
Truth to be told, I don't have enough time to play half the games I would want to and getting new platforms doesn't seem to be helping me.
Coming back to games after so many years was great, a really exciting rediscovery. Quitting for a couple of years might be a good strategy to get the magic back one day but I think it is only possible when you are very busy with other things in your life. If not, playing only local multiplayer might be a great idea.
At the moment, instead of buying a 3DS, I'm considering buying a beautiful Nikon D7000 to persue another of my hobbies: photography. The only problem is the money it costs!!
I get this feeling too. It comes and goes for me.
Who's the best Pac, Nas, and Big. Just leave it to that.
PLAYSTATION®3 is the future.....NOW.......B_E_L_I_E_V_E
Slaughterhouse Is The Sh*t .... NOW ........ B_E_L_I_E_V_E
I have the same problem and I own all three consoles and the 3DS...
ohh well maybe I'll get it back on friday with the release of Xenoblade
If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing
(mostly)
And shepherds we shall be,
For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints
Sounds like you need a break. Games are for entertainment/recreation purposes only and if you don't feel like playing anything then you shouldn't. It would just make things worse and probably make you hate gaming.
It may sound silly but I'd also suggest putting away your collection. Otherwise it'll just sit there staring at you as a giant TODO list.

It shouldn't be that hard to find, eBay is your friend for this one. I bet you it's even harder in the UK, I paid £60 ($100) and that is considered a bargain. But after the XBL Games on Demand release it has dropped in price. |
It's on XBL???!??!
Black Women Are The Most Beautiful Women On The Planet.
"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.
Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi
