Hello all,

It has been announced that 'Rage' will have the option of a 22GB install for the Xbox360! More than likely the PS3 version will be equally as large. While the PS3 has a history of large installs (5-7GB in some instances), there has not been a game this generation that came near this (GT5 was 10GB).

Is this the developers showing that it is time for the PS4/Xbox 720, is this going to occur more frequently over the next two years, or is this a one-time fluke? Regardless, I will be clearing space off my 120GB Slim PS3 that is for sure!

Well my 120GB PS3 still has 60GB left so at least something will help fill that. Even GT5 barely made a dent in it, I don't play enough games xD

DC universe has a 15gb install worse then GT5

As far as I can see 360 games tend to be complete installs. Of all the 20 or so games I have installed only one, Forza 3, was partial... I'm thinking that the PS3 install will be smaller than the 360 one.

I always install games on my 360 HD while playing them, then delete everything but the save game files when I'm finished. Rage I'd have to play from the discs, though. 22GB is just ridiculous!
