Forums - General - APPLE to be the Most VALUABLE Company in the world

@Snakenobi I think people ( Well the uniformed ones) treat Apple products as an accessory and a fashion item. Of course there are people who make an informed decision and choose Apple , and that's fine with me. But the people who buying just because it's the in thing make me lol. Some day Apple will just not be "cool" anymore, and it's these people who will move onto the next in thing.

that causual crowd with the her mentality will always be there

most people are submissive, why do you think we elect presidents and leaders.

i used question apple too but have come to reliaze its actually pretty good

for exmaple if you take android and windows, they provide you freedom but most people don't need that freedom and even smart people who like to techies and enthuiast don't always want all the options popping up in everyday life,we want a smooth experience which APPLE provides

when we are working then we can use PC and android doing something in details and technical

freedom was good but it got out of hand, just look at an android phone,it looks messy.

even MS is going the smooth experience way with windows 8 and apple is going to bring MAC OS and iOS together in 2-3 years time.

Apple are WAAAAAAAY Overated. Their products are overpriced ( 1000 Euro for Mac book pro versus an 500-600 for equavilent windows Laptop). A sim free Iphone 4 is ~579 Euro for top of the range one. For an equavilent say Samsung galaxy S II it's about ~379 Euro. I'm glad i'm in the know.

APPLE gives you a smooth OS also

we might not like it but most consumers who are busy in life and want quick smooth access do like APPLE

Samsung galazy packs hardware but is a very ugly phone with the out of control android OS.

Have you played with a gingerbread phone? Even on my X10, it is perfectly smooth, and is just as capable as an iPhone, but £200 cheaper

Apple have been clever, they didn't get there first with their 2 big products, the iPod and the iPhone, but they did them a bit better than most others, and then locked them in with iTunes, it is a clever strategy, but I do feel that the tide is turning against them slightly and I hope that the iPhone and iPad loose traction as they are massively over rated

It's likely that a lot of people are buying Apple products because they trusts the brand. Before Windows 7 , Windows have been known for a lot of things, some were good and some were bad. Apple was there to take the piece of the cake and build on it probably by word of mouth. Sure, their devices are overpriced, but the ones I mostly hear complaining are those people who doesn't own their devices.

As an owner of an iPhone, I have to disagree.  My iPhone is very easy to use and convinient.  Granted, can't say anything about the iPad since I don't have one and don't plan to.

The iPad is just a large iPod, they quite cool to play with... The rest of my family loves apple (3x mac book pro, mac book air, 2x iPhone 4, 1x iPad (soon to be 2)) so I do have quite a lot of experience with them. I just find them annoying and restrictive

Good for Apple. They;ve come a long way.

You really can't avoid their products these days even if you don't want them. I have Macbook Air, Iphone 4 and countless ipods sitting at home and not being used at all.

I got Mac Air for bday from girlfriend...I have a freekin 400 dollar Acer Laptop which I would rather use. Can't sell it cause I don't want to hurt her feelings.

I received Iphone 4 at my new job as a company phone. I begged them to give me Android or Windows phone 7 but no go...Iphone or blackberry. So I am just forwarding my work email to my windows phone 7.

Ipods were all gifts or they broke and since I got the Zune HD, I havent given them a second glance.

Someone however paid for all those Apple products in my household so no wonder they are doing so well. Imagine a household which actually likes their devices and how many of their devices are there... Yearly hardware refreshes go a long way.

Apple are overvalued. They have without a doubt done very well for themselves but they rely on loyalty to a brand and that is something that usually doesn't last forever.

yeah i have played with them,Galaxy SII,Xperia Arc to name a few

what did understand by my post of smooth?

i was talking about the whole user experience

for example i was really waiting for ARC,it looks stunning

it came out and there was no symetry to it

xperia is good looking but feels too slim and long in the hands, its user interface has too many options.

more customization is good but not everywhere and everytime.

Ferrari has never held a large portion of the car market and never will.
