man this sucks. i was also hoping for a Rockstar buy out when i read the title even though the dev process wasn't the best environment.

not good, given the sales of the game, I didn't see this coming

I guess it explains why the PC version isn't developed by Team Bondi.

They really deserve to make a good chunk of change for making such a good game.

Bad managment, lots of debts, a over-expensive technology that it's hard to sell. Even if they receive money that wasn't enough to keep the team alive.

I assume this is because Rockstar had to recoup the money they had invested. From what I have read, the only reason the project was the success it was was because Rockstar just kept pumping money in, so they will be taking their money before Team Bondi gets its money, but this is clearly the price to pay for poor management

They should have stayed with SCEE, they'd got a big success out of it and still have the strength to continue making The Getaway 3.
