hmm, so, oblivion was $15 yesterday and became $10 today, I think I'll wait until the last day of the sales and see if fallout 3 can become cheaper.

The Quakecon Pack 2011 deal is so tempting! It's available until August 7th. I must resist though so many games to finish! And Xenoblade is near! :/

so, last day of the sale, and fallout 3 does get a bigger discount as I suspected, downloading right now

I had fallout 3 but just got new vegas. thanks for the heads up
That's quite a tempting offer but I already have the Elder Scrolls pack, New Vegas and a few of the other games so I'd be buying lots of doubles. I did buy the Sqeenix pack a while back though, these pack deals are simply incredible!

Yeah, i've got a friend who was planning to preorder the game decide to just avoid it all together now.

They definitely won't be seeing my money until that things drops for sure, just out of principle.

Any of you ever buy anything from Good Old Games? I bought a couple last night, some of them are really cheap! The big minus for me was slow downloads, took me a good two hours to download a couple of gigabyte, that's not good enough if you make a living selling games in digital form imo.

I bought Empire Earth from them, and my friend has encouraged me to get Alpha Centurai, but I just favour steam due to the way that you have the desktop client making it easier to organise everything
And I have been very good with Steam, I did buy the GTA pack for like £5 and haven't got around to playing them yet... and Deus Ex where I can't really get through the first level... I might just leave my Deus Ex experience for Human Revolution (which I have pre-ordered for 360)

Alpha Centauri is a pretty sweet game that switches up the civilization paradigm a lot. Does GOG have Alien Crossfire yet though, because i thought that was when Alpha Centauri got real good, the expansion.
As for not being able to get through the first level of Deus Ex, do you mean the real first level or the tutorial? Cause i could never do the tutorial. The rest it's a matter of being decent at the stealth stuff for the first few levels even if you plan to go all guns, just to build up your gunning ability while still keeping other good abilties
