The thing with the electric cars is that they are barely noticeable for walking people because they make almost no sound. That can be quite dangerous.

People don't walk on the road, that's what sidewalks are for.
That's weird... My cell phone and 6 year old digital camera can take pictures without the shutter sound. Are you guys having trouble in finding the option to mute it?

just took a pic with my xperia... no sound ^^ (then again i'm in EU, maybe it's different in the US).

Amen bro! We gotta fight for our right to be pervs and use cameras in a perv way and to drive silent and run over all the pesky old ladies we want, not just the deaf ones! And if women don't want people to take photos of their panties, the solution is so simple, JUST DON'T WEAR THEM!!! O-)
