FFXII unfortunately. I played it on my BC ps3. I was all leveled up, finished all the side quests and was ready to get on with the final mission when disaster struck. Virtual memory card corrupt, all save games gone. near 100 hours gone.
I watched the rest on you tube.
Do not switch of console while saving OR go back to the xmb while apparently still saving to virtual memory card grrrr.

Persona 3, school got in the way. I'll finish it eventually, it was so damn good.

I never finished Dragon Quest 8 but I did get a pretty good ways into it. The game is so long though!

Baldur's Gate II

Reason: some annoying bug.

Difficult to say but probably Planescape Torment.... or Baldurs Gate...

By the time I started playing them, so many other games were comming out I wanted to play. I still have them installed with the intention of going back to them when I don't have so many games to play, but it doesn't happen very often.

Notable mentions: Grandia, Golden Sun and Tales of Phantasia (same reasons as above)

Dark Coud 2 is one of my favorite game of all time but I oddly never finished it.

ff6 and weirdly, it was always at the same spot.

Final Fantasy VIII. One of my alltime favorite games and I've played through it to the end literally dozens of times, but that whole time compression/ultimecia's castle thing annoyed me, so I always quit playing right before that point. a shame, too, because I loved every bit of it up to that point (I can spend an entire afternoon just playing digital card games.)

ehh dragon quest 8 I was in like the last stretches as well.
