This. Personally I think it is a rather poor subgenre of electronic music (I much prefer hardstyle as far as electronic is concerned ) but opinion is opinion after all.

I have a phenomenal sound system, and it only made it worse cause I could hear the lack of depth to the music

I think he might be trying to say  it's pretty simple music. And I have to say I agree with him. Doesn't make it any less awesome to listen to though IMO.
