I'm simply curious at how effective videogamecharterz expect the 3DS price cut to be.  So let me know your prediction for the new expected sales average of the 3DS going forward (September).

Things to consider:

Over the last 12 weeks 3DS has ranged from 65 to 98k weekly.

In american dollars the price cut is from $250 to $169.99.

The price cut goes into effect on Aug. 12 so for the most part sales should have leveled off to its new base line by Sept.

September historically has some of the worst console sales before the holiday effect kicks in starting in oct.

Software wise: Starfox 64 3D releases Sept 9th

September might not be as great as we would like to think, but I think October/November will be impressive.

yeah, i'm sure the holiday boost will be good to everyone.  i choose to limit just to september cause i think it will be the only time period in which the pre/post price cut sales will be at all comparable.  in Aug we'll see a big spike for at least a week, in october the holiday boost should constantly be boosting things WoW.

About 90,000 per week I guess, should go above 100K during November.

Buying in 2015: Captain toad: treasure tracker,

Post January will be decent, should have done that.

People saying under 100k are just hoping that, get real.

yeah but that would also include the mario kart / super mario effect as well.   also, i'm impatient.

I'm going with a low 120-140k.

So zero effect bassically? Come on Nintendo gamer .. the 3DS isn't the same as the Wii and you know it, stop being so pessimistic it's only a product ..
