If (very big if) they learned from the 3DS, I guess the WiiU might be around 300$. 50$ more than Wii at launch, but without a pack-in game.

Last time I said 300-350, adding 50 due to the 3DS tax. But after this price cut I think it's edging towards 300.
They might even surprise everyone with a 250 launch price. Making it Wii Too again, I mean Wii U
$299

~~~~ Mario Kart 8 drove far past my expectations! Never again will I doubt the wheels of a Monster Franchise! :0 ~~~~
I say 350.
If they don`t make the same mistakes they did with 3DS, they can apply that price and it will sell very well.
The only way i see them charging 300 it`s if they decide to sell the controllers. Still...
Sony learned the hard way that the first good sales numbers (for a home console, and sustained, not just the enthusiasts of the first few weeks that would buy at any price) happen at $400 and will launch at least the entry level model of PS4 at that price. MS will most probably do the same. Nintendo is expected to price its consoles less than Sony and MS, but this time it wants to offer a beefier console, so a $350 launch price will do, with a price cut down to $300 one or two years later. The price will include a game, like it did for Wii in most countries.
The last time we had a poll like this I voted 350 $/€ due to the expensive controller, the rumors that said it was 3 or 4 times more powerful than the PS360 and the fact that 3DS was already at 250 $/€.
Now with the price reduction of the 3DS and the developers saying that WiiU is comparable to PS360 (something that I don't really believe), I think Nintendo will have to launch it at 300 $/€ to have the success they want.
Please excuse my bad English.
