Actually Bioshock was eliminated. I counted flaagsteds negative vote to Bioshock, even though his positive Mass Effect vote couldn't count. However his next + will not be worth +2.

Batman isn't necessarily going to win, and I agree with Mantlepiecek that neither of the two left were true favorites for most of us here at the end, but unfortunately that's often how elimination votes/contests work.  The point is that Mass Effect, Bioshock and Assassin's Creed all made it to the final five (which is great), and everyone defended their respective game at the end, which shows a lot of passion for their favorite.

I could see people getting angry if someone had cheated but first, nobody broke any rules and second, it's just a game meant for FUN anyway.  Bioshock didn't end up winning either.  I wanted it to; I voted for it without fail because I think it deserved it, but I'm glad that it made it as far as it did.  Besides... THEY'RE ALL GOOD GAMES.

You voted AC and Mass Effect down because they were leading, which is still within the rules, but IMO a bit unsporting.

Mass Effect and Portal are great games, I'm really happy they made the top 5, but at the end there was a boat load of Bioshock/Mass Effect votes, which definatly obscured the results.

I disagree with you that Bioshock should have come 2nd, I honestly feel 5th is already great for the franchise, but I agree Mass Effect should have won. I think Assassin's Creed should have come second.

You have to admit though, if you weren't so hard on Mass Effect at the end, it may have still won. I killed AC in spite, and I voted down Bioshock at the end significantly because I actually felt Bioshock was the worst on the list. So let me get this straight, I voted within the rules, passionately defending the game I felt should win, and that's unsporting, but you killing AC in spite and having a tantrum isn't?  Do you even hear yourself?! 

I wasn't hard on ME and AC because I hate them, I voted against them strategically... it's an elimination game.  And as far as being hard on them, I could just as easily argue that several people that voted for said games also voted down Bioshock consistently too (you included, by your own admission), which made me and a few others defend it all the more... it works both ways, dude.  Did I have a fit when Yo John kept voting Bioshock down?  No; it was part of his strategy and he wasn't being belligerent about it.  Did I cry foul when you consistently voted down Andrew Ryan until elimination in the Villians thread?  Nope, that's how it works.

If it's these kind of results you wanted you should've made a thread asking everyone to list their favorite HD third party games JUST ONCE in the first place, and then added up the totals in the end.

A few people here need to realize that this is just a silly game in the first place and unless, as I said before, someone is cheating, creating alt accounts to sway the votes, etc. come to the realization that not everyone shares the exact same opinion as you.

In any case I have no interest in partaking in any more of your threads/games.  Why don't you save yourself the trouble and just make a thread awarding Mass Effect the greatest game and Bioshock the worst, since that's apparently the only outcome you're content with?
