I'm going to have a very basic AI whose advantage will be that it will be a fast decision maker and also that I, knowing roughly what the best strategy will be, will program it.

Demos: If I make it too complicated in terms of options, it will be much harder to manage. It'll be whether a game is in development, a simplified version of my cards' stamina/damage/earnings/genre, and a gamerankings-style score.

I have to give you cred for this! :)

If ioi does let you put this on on the site (under a section thats called: VGChartz Console War Game............ by Game_boy written below the title of course) you could have something really big and...... ADDICTIVE!

It could eventully draw alot of people to the site... but its still your decision to put it on the site in the end.

Yes, I did it on my own. I had to think about and write all the stats, then spend two days making the script that aligns them and puts them in a file, and then figure out how to convert them to PDF (Vista doesn't print to PDF, but it turns out my Linux distribution does)

I had a similar idea about creating a minigame based on the console wars, but given that the only thing I have ever programmed was a couple of games in BASIC on a Spectrum +2, I abandoned the idea.
It would've had the Sony Defense Force vs. The Xbots vs. The Nintendrones and featured weapons such as the Blu-Ray and the Red Ring of Death.
