man thats a nice curve there for the PS3. I hardly expect it to stay that way, but hopefully we will see it selling a lot better this year.

i have no doubts software will and can sell on the ps3... look at assassins creed and call of duty ... two quality games for the most part... are well over a million sold getting closer to two million.....

Still games are selling much batter on the PS3 in both EU and Japan , and at least 2 soccer games will hit the million this year :) maybe even Madden . I bet that the PS3 will have at least 10 million seller untill the end of the year , maybe that number will be closer to 20 ... who knows :)

There are 3 games about to break a million, and 2 more just below 800k, so by the end of 08 ps3 might have as much as 20 million sellers which is more than the psp.
Unlike psp, its IMPOSSIBLE to hack the playstation 3, on the other hand people have hacked the wii recently and thats bad news for software sales.

also, very near wii in europe, i don't know if it's due to wii shortages (europe) but passing the xbox360 once more is very good!!! :)

You get these 'gut feelings' whenever numbers don't match what you want.  Can you provide one example of where you have been right?

Any way, congrats to the PS3.  Though %Market share tends to get huge swings during the holidays as there is a giant influx of total console sales, they are certainly eating away at MS's Market Share.

I would expect the PS3 and the 360 to have comparable market share by the end of 08 maybe around 26% with the wii at 48%.  Of course I base this entirely on the sales trends continueing and no real data so I could be way off.

How exactly is it IMPOSSIBLE to hack the PS3?  Do they use some sort of alien technology that is beyond the comprehension of humans?
