Lol funny gears brought me six years of entertainment i played nothing but gears until the player count started to drop = ( i also got Alan wake,Halo 3,Halo reach,Pgr 3,Shadowrun,Left for dead 2,Metro 2033 and a couple of arcade games.My main reason to got the ps3 was because of killzone 2 and the blu ray = )

i would not have played GEARS for 6 yrs. i would have lost interest 2 yr's after its release.

wht ultimately wht drove me away from KZ2 was glitching. i spent 2 yr's on and off and 2 slightly different accounts playing KZ2.

a teleporting glitch kept me away for a month and then  a wall shooting glitch (shooting through walls) kept me away permanently.

i'm still playing GEARS2 (almost 2 yrs) on the lose ends account(not the actualy spelling of the name) i'm still on let for dead some wht and i won't go into the others.

idk why i love Gears so much.

i seen someone glitch out in radec he was shooting threw a wall but only on that map.

were you there when gears 2 launched?

doin something. likely playing KZ2 VC or heavenly sword.

i've seen the glitches for GEARS2 the crew i know has a counter for every glitch.

well if you got the game the first day like me, you will know the game was extremly glitchy, and laggy, and buggy LOL that's what made me go back to gears of war 1

would you buy a console for one game? that's something i'd never do and i hope you wouldn't waste $300.00 on a new or used console for just one game.

i've said it more then twice and i'll say it again. i need 15(5 of the 15 need to be new IP) dedicated exclusive innovative franchises and one sequal for those franchises that catter to my interest for me to even consider purchasing any console and thats why the only console i've purchased this gen is a PS3. 

3rd party is just a bonus nothing more. srry not big on 3rd party.

Well, perhaps he is just like me... I don't really care whether game which I buy is exclusive or not. Sometimes I don't even know that game is multiplatform. I buy exclusive game only if it is better than similar multiplatform game. I buy those games which seems best, exclusivity is non-factor. Heck, over 80% of my games are multiplatform. Sure, I only have PS3 but not just because of exclusive games. 

well its your money so i can't argue that. go where your buck counts the most to you.

for me its a branching out thing. i start with console support from the manufacture, and then i seek multiplatform titles. exclusives will never over run multiplatform games with the exception of Sony this yr with 16 exclusive IP. more then any one publisher this yr, and while i only have a few of those at this point it seek atlease 90% of those games.

its that support that drives me to my platform of choice. (PS3)

Have you seen Dust 514 it looks like a good game.

All this PS3 vs 360 rivalry reminds me of whenever I see my brother. I bought him a 360 4 years ago on black friday. 1 year later, i got myself a ps3, my first HD console. So whenever I see him, we have a light-hearted argument about which one is better....but I always win the argument because I'm the only one who can play both!

there's so many things wrong with this statement, but truthfully most people in the US bought a 360 because it was cheaper. A lot of them wanted to upgrade from their PS2, but couldn't afford the $500 price tag (me included), so they went with a $200 360. I held out until Sep 2009 for a PS3 when they lowered the price to $300 finally.
