Yeah, MW3 and Skyrim realease at the same time. They'll do wonders for the system.

I think Kinect's boost will be more consistent in time that those games', but we'll see how it goes.

Even with the update, I don't see it happening. Even if the 360 is able to pull off ~35K a week more than it did last year for the rest of the year, it will still end up over 100K short. Plus, I don't see the 360 being able to pull off those 2 weeks of a million without the Kinect effect from last year.

As of right now 2011 has sold 81.8% of 2010 (for the 17 weeks currently measured in the table) but it has been outselling 2010 for the past 6 weeks on average by 36,123, if it maintains that rate it will fall short of of the target by 82,262.

Am I glad I'm not in the majority that answered with "Not a chance" :P

There's a reasonable chance it will have passed it's 2010 total at the same point when next Dec 2/3 numbers arrive.

It's really going to depend I think on the weeks ending 18 & 25th of December.

 

Anyways, bigggest week ever for them, I happy anyway :)

What's your prediction for the christmas week?

I reckon it's going to do ~1.3m for the week ending 17/18th, and ~1.4m for the week ending 25th, I think it would be just to much of a struggle to reach 1.5, any thoughts?
