  • Sales
  • Dust on Wii
  • 3rd party support
  • Dust on Wii
  • No new 1st party titles

There is no way that I could buy all three of the RPGs XenoBlade, Pandora's Tower and The Last Story at full price, especially in my condition of late. I would most definitely buy at least one at full price and the others at a later time but you know how many people out there would beg and whine about a game only for it to release and them not buy it at all? Hell I'm one of the few that went out and bought Mushroom Men when sales were flat. If it took something like Right Stuf did for the Emma anime (they made fans reach a certain per-order limit before they would release the title) then I think that would be the best method so that if you claim you would buy something you have to put your money where your mouth is (and your name got put into the credits as a special thanks). I would definitely pony up to get Captain Rainbow that way since its something so obscure. I'm not saying that NoA is justified in not localizing them,  I would "want" to play the games I'm just saying I don't know if I would actually go out and buy all of them (Do YOU go and buy every Nintendo game that releases just because they release it?).

Notice the dates.  They've been fighting to get the legal rights for The Last Story in the US for 1.5 years.

Ever try to have something trademarked in the US?  I have.  Get ready to wait a while for it...especially if it's contested or not unique enough.  

Monado was filed on June 2nd of 2009 and was just granted a 3rd extension on June 15 of 2011.  So they fully intend to release the games but if you don't have your legal ducks in a row first, you can have your product yanked from shelves and sued pretty harshly.

I don't blame you. I'm just pointing out that you honestly don't give a damn about these games, so you better not justify NoA's actions. That's terrible.

And no I don't buy all the games Nintendo launches because most of them never make it here. I should blame my country for that though.

lol, of course I wouldn't have. The game is garbage, but it's another game that never made it. This was simply a list of games that NCL published but NoA didn't. For example I would have never published Mystery Case Files or DK Barrell Blast anywhere either.

You missed my point. Publishing a chess game in Europe would be profitable, hence they did it. Publishing a chess game in the USA would not be, hence they didn't do it. The same is true for most the other games listed.
