Achievements and trophies are now part of our daily gaming lives and while they do add nice replay value to our games we rarely feel the need to brag about them. It's understandable since no matter how hard the achievement/trophy there's always many who have done it before. So I thought I would make a thread where we can talk about those unusual gaming achievements we made throughout the years on old games without rewards system or just something crazy you've done on a recent game that isn't part of the achievement list.
To give an example, I'll start with a few of my own:
- I finish and got the good ending on Bubble Bobble (NES) - this means 100+ levels 2 times with the same 30sec of music looping in every level
- I finished Battletoads (NES) without using any warp zone, I did use the 5 lives code at the beginning though.
- I ALMOST beat The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (SNES) without saving. Sadly a thunderstorm cut the power out as I was making my way to Ganon's palace.
