couldn't have been easy with a controller. I wouldn't even want to try.

- I ALMOST beat The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (SNES) without saving. Sadly a thunderstorm cut the power out as I was making my way to Ganon's palace.

I achieved this back in the day, because I for once wanted to have the game displaying "000" for the number of attempts (saving and quitting adds to the counter). I did a 100 % run in a single four and a half hours sitting.

I have more unusual The Legend of Zelda series achievements. I remember a few people that had a livestream for playing through four 3D Zelda games in three days (they ultimately failed) and most people thought that this was quite a challenge. Well, if I really wanted I could do 100 % runs on all four games (excluding the Minitendo gallery in The Wind Waker) within 72 hours all alone. Would be taxing (only like 16 spare hours to eat and sleep during those three days), but perfectly doable.

I couldn't do a no save run on any of the 3D Zelda games because I don't know them well enough.

When I started the no save run on AttP I had the same objective as you, I wanted to see my game file with 000 at the end.

Considering you'd have to torture me to play StarCraft with a controller, I think that qualifies as something special.

I actually beat Ninja Turtles for the NES, though admittedly it took me an emulator with save states and hundreds of deaths to do it.. The though of someone actually trying to beat that game without an emulator makes me sick to my stomach..

I finished LoZ: OoT with 3 hearts, 1 bottle and without magic lens. The hardest part was the Haunted Wasteland. :(
