i really think that the wii has went to a point of no return when compared to the ps3! how a console can sell 5:1 in a place like japan is beyond me! also, the wii has hit near 400,000 in japan last week! that's more than it did launch! i really don't think ps3 will catch up! also,

the sixaxis sux! it's just honesty. i'm waiting for dualshock 3. the wii has just launched off high! plus the myth "people don't buy wii software because they're casuals" has already been proven false! i mean, galaxy sold almost 1 million the week before last! right now, it is more like microsoft and sony duking it out. but it may become nintendo and sony in 2009! but, it's pretty obvious that the wii may have just beat the other 2! (it sold almost 20 million in 2007 what took the gamecube 2001,2002,2003, and so on to do!! it's also tracking above ps2's first year! (which i thought would be impossible considering the ps2 is a gaming legend!) it's not a fad!

i don't think the 360 will win this gen, and it might not have a shot of getting wii!

the ps3 is going to be the final contender of the wii! it's the one that will surprise a lot this gen like the wii! 2007 was, year of the 360 in software. i think wii and ps3 will be duking out know in 2008 with games like brawl mkwii haze mgs4 red steel 2!

As long as I can remember Wii's were always out of stock, and resellers at amazon sold them for a much higher price than the current $ 395.
The only Xbox360's out of stock at amazon is the pro-value bundle, the others ( Elite, Arcade, Halo-edition ) are all there.

True, same for Amazon France, UK and Germany. But did you notice why? Because the Wii is not in stock in any of these stores. 

 You're right. I thought about all that before I posted and left it out. I haven't really been following how much the wii was going for but I decided to check because of this thread and it looks like every new console is over $450 so maybe people are waiting for some cheaper prices and the only 360 that was selling the best was that pro bundle version and that's out of stock. Or simply it "could" just be the ps3 is really starting to sell better. Hopefully that's the case.
