For example Halo Reach preorders were 2mil for Americas yet it sold 3mil there first week

Black Ops preorders were 1.8mil for Americas yet it sold 4mil there first week.

While if gears of war 3 reaches 2mil preorders I'm betting first week sales will only be around 2.2mil in Americas

and I'm willing to be mw3 preorders will be much closer to actual units sold than last year.

Skyrim will obviously only match or beat its preorder numbers in America by around 100k as every other rpg seems to do for the past year so hopefully it can reach 900k preorders.

I think Uncharted 3 will be able to match God of War 3 in preorders and get around 500k preorders and 800k first week, because even though God of war is tracking ahead of it right now, god of war preorders slowed down considerably its last few weeks while that doesn't happen to titles being released in the holidays.

Why do people expect such a huge increase just because of the beta? Uncharted just doesn't have a huge multiplayer community yet, it is still viewed as an sp game.

Those numbers aren't automatically going to transfer to preorders. The preorders will pick up closer to release.

I didn't talk about the preorder numbers... just the "doesn't have a huge multiplayer community" because Uncharted have a HUGE MULTIPLAYER COMMUNITY.
