I agree with Shio, PC gaming is soaring again this year, we'll have another golden age like the early and mid '90's! YAY!

 ummm...... okay......

Excuse me while I go have some insane fun in Team Fortress 2.... on the PC.

I don't believe for a second developing games for PC is easier than for consoles. With PC's, the games have to work on a thousand different configurations which is a major headache. Also, every game you make has to work on a new generation of hardware. After making your first game for a specific console you are 100% familiar with the hardware for the next few games.

Though it may be tempting to download pirated games nowadays it is so easy to find great games for bargain prices. I got heroes of might and magic I, II and III for 15 bucks and that was a few years ago lol.

Been a long time pc gamer. Pc games will always be around and look and play better than there console counter part.

If the PC market is so important, why does this website not track it. Most games that sell games for PS360 wii etc sell PC games too, so why are software sales not taken from the same sources used for console software sales?
Personally, I am not a big PC game because I am more used to using a PS controller, and my laptop is barely up to the demands of any modern games

PC sales aren't really done right now because everyone and their mother sells PC games and a lot of sales are essentially untrackable (direct downloads), it'd be like trying to track Virtual Console sales by recording how many Wii points cards get sold.

I've been playing mostly Wii and DS lately but I do still have a backlog of PC games to play (lots of great strategy games out lately), I'm happy with the current state of the PC market.
