edit: It was neither. I tested Civ 4 out on my new lappy for a few mins and that was the first game.
Team Fortress 2. Played it from like, 10 pm to 1 am, right through to the new year. Orange Box goodness.

Oh god Soriku and I had the same first GOTY. I thought I wanted to play Oblivion, but ended up going to sleep. Woke up this morning and popped in BKO, which is a great game. I'm now playing Dues Ex though (another great game) as I decided to play through again.
The last game I played in '07 was Heavenly Sword, but I haven't had a chance to pick up any games yet this year... I'm gonna have to go fix that now.
