this might sound like a strange question, but for lovers of gummi bears (like me), this is a very serious question and of the utmost importance.
I like my gummi bears hard, someone suggested to me to stick the package in the refrigerator for an hour to make it harder and it works!! although kinda cold
so do you like the gummi bears hard or soft?
Soft and chewy, though not too soft, I have never put the packet in the fridge or anything

Same here, given I never tried it hard, might do that one day.
I've been doing some experimenting, and if you can't wait an hour for the gummi bears to get hard in the fridge, you can instead stick it in the freezer for about 20 minutes, and it gets hard.
I've also discovered that where the it's made counts too.
Like I prefer Haribo, but if you look at the back of the package, it's made in different countries like Hungary or Spain, and sometimes that determines whether it's hard or not. Although someone told me it sometimes has to do with how old the package is, I'm not sure if that's true or not....
