Spot on. Watching f1 for real is a dead giveaway. The cars are so much brighter in colour than the tv. The sky bluer, the curbs look so much mor reader to as does the grass greener. There's a reason Hollywood make there films more vibrant. Cameras just don't pick colour up enough. Comparing gt to camera footage isn't good. Its like the devs tried to mimic camera colour, not real life colour. |
ha ha ha maybe beause those vid took place at sunset???? look out your window at sunset and tell me how many colors you see
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vLKOTLacaIQ&feature=fvst off cam footage
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y76G1_Mqw2Q which has moar color
Forza 4 is looking very tasty indeed...!!!!!!!!
Forza 3 was a SUPERB game, easily one of the best racing games this gen.
I do hope that Forza 4 has more unique tracks this time around........... too many tracks From Forza 2 appeared in Forza 3, but thats my only gripe.
Day 1 purchase unquestionably.

Forza fails vid.....dude you try to hard, no one is downplaying Forza, but it's lighting isn't realistic and the colors on the cars are highly saturated, that's a from looking at the vid you yourself posted, I mean dude look at the lighting of the cars in the auto vista and then look at the lighting in the actual gameplay it's looks nothing alike. I'm full aware of GT graphical issues because I play the living shit out of it every day, and I'll tell you, any GT fan that says it doesn't have graphical problems are lying to themselves, my biggest gripe it how the smoke heavily pixelates the cars when in third person. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cn3X31kN8HQ you can see it clearly in this vid, GT5 isn't without it's problems I know that full well, but that Forza vid you posted doesn't at all come near to topping it, and you need to understand not topping don't mean it's worse there was an interview with Kaz regarding some of their staff playing Forza and he said the got a DIFFERENT approach at sim racing than they do, not we're better, they're inferior, we got the best sim, definitive blah blah blah, no turn 10 does that.....and fanboys, I'm neither just telling it like a see it and your a blind dude if you think the lighting in the Forza vid is more realistic than the GT vids because it's not, and that was turn 10's choice, not because the 360 is weaker than the ps3 crap you always seem to see whenever anyone mentions graphics |
We will never agree because your comparing games to bland camera lenses. When real life is alot more rich and vibrant.
so how bout we wait to see who of us is proven right. =)

any camera footage is the same. The same situation in real life is richer in every sense. Go to a real race and tell me camera footage looks the same in colour. Ferraris f1 car has to be seen for real. Its stunning how red and shiny it really is. Something tv just does not capture. The colour is to desaturated.

Skeeuk said: its looking good the showroom grafix are a big plus, on track it looks like forza 3 with improved lighting |
the contrast set to 100%
Nobody's perfect. I aint nobody!!!
Killzone 2. its not a fps. it a FIRST PERSON WAR SIMULATOR!!!! ..The true PLAYSTATION 3 launch date and market dominations is SEP 1st
Hum...
When I say that I view GT5 as looking more life-like... I don't base my judgment based on camera footage. ¬_¬
I base it off what I see everyday when I step outside.
The colors in Forza 4 are over-saturated compared to what I see outside everyday. The texture work, while very detailed, is overdone, as I said, and it gives the game an arcade look to my eyes.
Now I don't care which one has the best physics, or the most effects running in a single second. I'm talking about what I see, and what I see is that GT5, with all its graphical flaws, still look more life-like to my eyes.
Forza 4 may end up being a better game in the end. But visually, GT5 achieves a more realistic and life-like look.
I lol'ed at the highest rated comment on the video page. XD
OT: This game definitely is the 360's most realistic looking game.
