With FF out of the way, the following are all PSP Gems that need to be picked up:

ARPG: Ys 7, YS 1+2 Chronicles, YS 3 Oath in Felghana, Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth,
Traditional JRPG: Legend of Heroes: Trail in the Sky, Brave Story:New Traveller, Lunar Silver Star Harmony, Tales of Eternia
JRPG with a modern twist: Persona 3 Portable, Persona 1
SRPG: Disgaea 2, Valkyria Chronicles 2,
Ad-hoc online RPG: Monster Hunter Freedom 2

But what Star Ocean are you referring to?


I already have FF VII and IX for PSone. Already beat Crisis Core, it was one of my games that got stolen, and I'm done with FFIV for a few more years, same with the first FF. And I have both Star Ocean: First Departure and Second Evolution, and Second Story on PSone. 


Okay, sorry I couldn't be more help, I forgot about those Star Ocean reamakes

Damn, how could I forget about the Valkyrie Profile port...If you haven't played it on PSX it's a must have!

 

Also, there's a Tactics Ogre game for PSP, but I don't know if it has been released outside of Japan yet.

Ha! Me too! How about Valkyria Chronicles 2 or Ys: Oath in Felgana (Or whatever it's called).

That would be the Tactics Ogre remake: Tactics Ogre: Let us Cling Together.  It has been out for a few months now.  There's about 4 or so Legend of Heroes game released, except for the recently released one they might be a bit difficult to find since they're out of print and not on the network.  Gurumin is another game to pick up.  It has RPG elements and is a great game to play (Reminds me of Megaman Legends, but level based).  And I know this sounds weird but go to EB Games right now, the PSP section has essentially been relegated to RPGs, I'm sure grabbing something random from the wall that has an anime character on it might not even be a half bad game.

Ok, I was going to get Legend of Heroes: Trail in the Sky but the closest GameStop that had it was in Lubbock, Texas, I am in San Antonio. Not close so I had to say no. I did get Ys Seven though, and Phantasy Star IV for the Sega Genesis. And Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. So yeah, already played a bit of THPS and am gonna start Ys. I would've started Phantasy Star first but the controller I bought doesn't work. Gonna return that later.
