  the N64 was brilliant and their games as well. I decided to rebuy all my n64 games and I dont regreat.

I have only been in 3 Gens so I call it Gen 1, Gen 2, and Gen 3.(Always owned 2 Systems in each)

Gen 1(PS, 64)>Gen 3(PS3, Wii)>Gen 2(PS2, Gamecube)

Gen 2 is last for me due to the PS2 & Gamecube being my least favorite consoles from Sony & Nintendo. The PS2 didn't have too many good games IMO and GC had all of the lows of Nintendo's franchises. Double Dash is the worst Mario Kart, Melee is the worst Super Smash Bros. Sunshine is the worst 3D Mario, Adventures is the worst Starfox...also RE4 is my least favorite #'d RE game. While all of these games were still decent they were that worst of their franchises. The best thing about this Gen was the introduction of my top 2 franchises of all time...Pikmin and Animal Crossing...still it wasn't enough to make it not be my least favorite Gen.

Gen 3 started out as an amazing Gen. The Wii introduced a new way to play games with Motion controls and it was great fun. The PS3 was great as it had a lot of power and the best graphics seen on a console. Nintendo brought back the greatness of their franchises with Galaxy, Brawl, Mario Kart Wii and others improving over their previous games. They also showed fun new games such as Wii Sports and Wii Fit. At 1 point I was even saying that the Wii was my favorite system ever made by far...its still my favorite but only by a little bit now. Why? well, I actually got tired of the same game releases on the Wii. The only Wii games to come out of the last 9 months are all Party, Dance, or platforming games. While I like all of those genres...we haven't got much of anything else.

My favorite Gen out of all of them is my very 1st Gen. The PS is my favorite Sony system ever made and the N64 had something special about it. The PS was great for producing all of the great old Capcom games. IMO, 4 of the Top 5 Capcom games ever made began on the PS. These were, RE, RE2, RE3N, and Dino Crisis.(The other is Code Veronica). The N64 had some amazing games with the likes of...Mario 64, DK64, Banjo-Kazooie, Paper Mario, Mario Party, Pokemon Stadium 2, Glover, and others.

This gen is my favorite obviously.

Generation 6 for me, the Dreamcast and Xbox (my two favourite consoles) gave me Shenmue, Sonic Adventure, several million SHMUPS, Halo, Knights of the Old Republic, Fable, Forza, Time Splitters 2, Star Wars Battlefront and more it was like heaven... I loved the 'character' of the Dreamcast and I could be biased with the Xbox, beyond the games, seeing as it was the first console that I myself owned.

I never truely got to see what the PS2 was all about. My brother got one a year after it launched but he never ever ended up with a memory card which severely limited the 'funosity' of the machine, just another of the things I loved about the Xbox no memory cards instead you got an 8GB harddrive as standard (113,000 blocks).

However the PS One did have Star Wars Jedi Power Battles so it does come close.

The current gen is my favorite as it has many games I enjoy and spawned the era of online gaming which is awesome!

PS3 + Xbox 360 + Wii = games for everyone!

PSX PS2 and Dreamcast for me. I wish that was an option

So those are your favourite systems eh? DC was so underrated. I really wish that I had one now (Shenmue, Sonic Adventures, SKies of Arcadia, etc.)
