The last thing EA bought that wasn't social and/or mobile was Bioware and Pandemic in 2007. EA have made eight acquisitions since.

Gamevil is also a Korean company. Do EA buy companies based in Korea?

Top class ios studio Firemint, now top class huge causal gamer studio/s popcap. EA is differently trying to dominate the entire mobile market before anyother publisher can get in.
