do you know modern consoles except PS3 are built like PC, they contain all what PC have: CPU, GPU, RAM, PSU, FANS, CD DRIVE, HDD and a Mother Board. If you want you can turn your 360 into a PC if you are smart enough to program it to install windows or linux.

Why? My video card by itself, without counting my actual RAM, CPU, etc. is alreay more powerful than the etirety of the 360. Factor in the rest and an emulator done by the actual company making the console, and even with inefficinecies the 360 is laughably weak and would be able to be emulated on hardware several years old.

All that guy confirmed is that live will be coming to the PC, just as it already exists on Windows Phones. No mention of 360 games at all

 

Microsoft’s vice president of global marketing Mike Delman confirming:

"Live has been successful on the Windows Phone. Live will be built into the PC. It will be the service where you get your entertainment. We were talking about it — you will not just see consoles and handhelds at this show next year, this show’s going to morph into other devices."

What are you talking about? Xbox and Windows are 100% Microsoft. If this news turns out to be true, it's basicly just an official Xbox 360 emulator mode built into Windows 8. Any Xbox 360 exclusives would still be exclusive to Microsoft, just as Sony's exclusives only work on the hardware that Sony alows like those wierd phones.

He's right, you're clueless on this subject. And before you ask me to explain, don't bother I've replied to people like you before with huge detailed paragraphs that include links, sources, etc... and it's only a waste of time. You have obviously made up your mind about this even though you are very misinformed, and no mattter what I tell you it won't matter.

 

I'll give you this, you know a little more than the other guy I replied to but I wouldn't take that as a compliment.

Only way I can see this working is through onlive or similar online service. I dont know much about this stuff but I hear that its next to impossible to make tri core power PC architecture run on x86. But then again, windows 8 will support arm too. Maybe Microsoft found the magic coolade...
